Friday 18th: Mike took a boat back out to Karen’s dhow to find the missing anchors. They returned with one of them – no doubt the other one will be found eventually! They did another dive on the suitcase dhow where the viz was pretty poor, although Uwe did discover what’s inside the third suitcase (nothing!).
Celebrations were held at the club underwater for Peter’s birthday during December and congrats also to Ian for passing his instructor’s cert this month. We look forward to the lessons.. just how do you hold that snorkel while drinking again Ian?
On Saturday the 12th Brendan took a boat out Saturday to Karen’s dhow but returned missing 2 (!) anchors. Looks like we’re back there to find them. No doubt Brendan will be donating 2 crisp 10 dirham notes to club funds!
The 4th: Diving cancelled because of 6-9ft offshore waves. Everyone went surfing instead!
